Android » Time Profiles
I actually use a iPhone as my everyday phone :$ but I use a HTC Desire as my work phone, therefore, since I don’t use it that much. So there’s no need for it to have wifi on and other battery consuming settings. The problem then, is that when I do use it, say for testing my apps and stuff like that, I do want to have some of these settings on, e.g. wifi.
So the idea for Time Profiles was born. I wanted a simple app that was able to enable and disable some of these settings I didn’t need at night and have them enabled again when I woke in the morning.
And now a public beta is available for testing \o/ (note: Android 2.1 required)
Features:
Airplane mode on/off
Wifi on/off
Bluetooth on/off
Ringer mode normal/vibrate/silent
Ringer volume
Ringer vibration on/off
Alarm volume
Media volume
Notification volume
All the settings have a “No change” option which is the default selected option for them all.
Further more you can set the time for activation, weekdays, time to deactivate, or you can skip them all and only use manual mode for the profiles.
You can choose to enable notifications, which, if enabled, will display an ongoing notification and which profile that’s active (if any).

And since I consider it a beta, what good would a beta be without a todo list ![]()
Todo:
- Live folder, mostly because I want to try the live folder API
