A sneakier peek?

Long time no update eh?

Adjusting BattStatt for better customization took way longer time than I initially thought (shocker), will have even less now with my new assignment. But I made some progress tonight, rethinking my first themeing idea from scratch basically. My first thought was to have a json-format and letting you peeps be able to either hack it yourselves or through the config ui, now it’s all done in the config ui…sort of. By placing custom fonts in the root of “/sdcard/.battstatt/” they will get index in the custom font picker preference I’ve made and will be selectable. To ensure compatibility should the sdcard be removed, I will copy the selected font into the private app data dir of battstatt upon selection (only one, old will be replaced). There will be something similar when it comes to the background. But that isn’t started yet.

Here’s some grabs of the revamped config ui:

There you go…I haven’t forgotten about you ;)

Just hang in there peeps.

Sneak peek

I’m doing fairly well in my progress of customizing the crap out of BattStatt and thought I’d share the progress so far.

That’s “live”. You will be able to enter an “advanced mode” in the settings where you will be able to adjust just about anything, if you want to, the choice is yours ;)

There just might be an early release, who knows ;) I’d look forward to the weekend if I were you ;)

BattStatt Pro 1.0.3

Just uploaded a new version of BattStatt Pro, which differs quite a bit from the previous one.

NOTE! You should really remove widgets beforehand to save you the errors that may (will?) popup due to changes in the color handling.

- From here on only the widget itself will be localized, the configuration will always be english. This saves me the maintenance and lets me dish out updates faster, since I don’t have to rely on people to translate stuff for me.
- New color picker. A very basic one that lets you choose r,g,b (and alpha for the background). The old presets are still there if you rather want to use one of them.
- The small widget with numbers has been removed and become an config option.
- Added the option to do nothing on a widget press.

That’s it.

P.S.
You should really remove widgets beforehand to save you the errors that may (will?) popup due to changes in the color handling.

P.S.2
BattStatt Free will get a smaller maintenance release to fix the alignment issues later this week.
